Frame and glass manufacturing
We manufacture our Upvc products and double glazed units at our Poulton based factory.

The frames are a 70mm internally or externally glazed Legend70 system, to meet or exceed the requirements of BS7412 and BS7950.

The double glazed units are made using Pilkington glass and are thoroughly tested and have passed the CE requirements. Lead artwork can also be applied to units or single glazing. We are happy to advise on any technical information on frames or units, or whether toughened glass is required and we are here to help with any lead designs that may not be the norm.

Order Processing
If you wish to place an order, this would be taken by
one of the directors as we do not employ ‘double glazing salespeople’.

Installation and Delivery
Our manufacturing process is mainly carried out within
our factory, therefore the installationdate or delivery to
trade customers can be flexible to your requirements.

Installation Team & Fleet

Abelglass purchase all their own vans and do not
sub-contract joiners. You may not think this matters to
you or your installation but let us explain why it does...

Some window companies use sub contractors to fit
their windows who have to supply their own ancillaries
and van. Some of these sub-contratorrs will choose to
use cheaper quality silicone and screws and are not meticulous about finishing off or lasting quality as they wont be around in a week or ten years to come back and replace shoddy work.

We only use our own trained joiners who are sent out in our vans which are stocked with
the best quality silicones, screws and other ancillaries. Our fitters take pride in their work
and thier jobs would be in question if installations did not meet our high standards. Our
manufacturing and installation teams have been employed by us for years.

All customers are welcome to meet us for a coffee and factory visit and see the processes
under way. You wont find any ‘typical double glazing sales reps here’.
